Cbob (Colin Stevenson) - drums, vocals

From the innocent but brilliantly vivid days of ‘Palmiferous’(inspired by the legendary Kenny Henry), to the present bliss of ‘Bob Cuba’ Colin’s life has been one big roller coaster of joy, hurt, fun and music! Let me take you on his musical journey.......The Boomtown Rats.....mainstream eighties pop.....The Housemartins.......The Smiths......The Cure......The Jesus and Mary Chain.......The Pastels....The Pooh Sticks......Primal Scream......My Bloody Valentine........ and then a decade of  musical anguish, emptiness and a thirst for something that could satisfy his desire for a return to musical heaven. Palmiferous came too early, Mossbunker had Bunyen, Picnic suffered from chronic female vocalitis, Canaveral(aka Frankograph) were crap. The answer(which is often the case) was right in front of his nose! i.e...... A brother who could compose songs that could make him laugh, cry and bounce on his space hopper in time with the beat! Add to that a Bass Player and songwriter who is a rhythmic and creative genius(who has the courage and patience to put up with 2 feuding brothers!), put it in a big melting pot with Colin and his fat head, stir vigorously for 23 days and you get................BOB CUBA!

ps Colin plays the drums, but he ain’t got no thumbs!
